Odyssey Marine Exploration is the leading shipwreck recovery company in the world. By developing state-of-the-art equipment, including their ROV named Zeus, Odyssey pioneered deep water recovery by being the very first company to pilot an entirely robotic shipwreck retrieval. Because of this technology, they can explore greater depths and uncover even more artifacts.  Not only are they able to explore depths never before thought possible, they have recovered priceless items lost at see for hundreds of years, without jeopardizing human life in the process. These explorations have been documented in many specials featured on National Geographic and Discovery Channel.

Q?

Where do the artifacts come from?

A.

The artifacts on display in the museum are all authentic and were recovered from varying ocean depths by Odyssey Marine Exploration. Several of the pieces are from their own collection and have never been on display for public viewing. There are three notable shipwrecks the majority of the items are attributed to: the Tortugas, the SS Republic, and the SS Gairsoppa. A number of the artifacts in the exhibit have been featured in documentaries on National Geographic and the Discovery Channel.
